Living close by high-voltage electricity power lines

The high-voltage electricity pylon located so close to the Paramount View condominium being built.

I was at the Taman Aman lake garden in Petaling Jaya when I saw this Paramount View condominium under construction nearby. It was shocking to see the condominium being built so very close to high voltage electricity power lines.

An electric pylon (or transmission tower) stands right behind the condominium. I just wonder how the local authority could have approved the condominium project without taking into consideration the health risks of the condominium residents. For health concerns, experts recommended 400 metre prudent avoidance distance.

Major international studies, publications and reports (see links below) stated that people living close to pylons are unsafe, especially for children, and have been linked to cancers and other illnesses.

Cosplayers enjoyed a fun time on the 2nd day of Comic Fiesta 2008 held at Sunway Convention Centre, Petaling Jaya on Dec 20-21, 2008.

There were more cosplayers than on the 1st day mainly because it was a Sunday and there was a Solo Cosplay Competition. They looked really cute in their costumes.
