MBPJ new road name plates pasted with advertisement bills

Petaling Jaya city council Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) recently replaced all old road name plates with new ones in SS2, SEA Park and other parts of the city. Good job MBPJ! Besides the road name and postcode, the new plates now come with an additional MBPJ logo at the right side.

I like the new design plate but, alas, the loan sharks are quick to capitalize on it to get new business by pasting bills advertising monely lending. The above ads used a misleading heading "Tuition Centre" but below it said "Loan RM1,ooo, get RM950.00"

Another road name plate pasted with advertisement bill. Also note the tree behind is not spared. The city council, MBPJ, is responsible for repair and maintenance of street name plates and should take remedial action fast before it get out of hands.
