Ghostly Halloween thrills at 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Shoppers and participants at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya had a spooky fun filled time with the Halloween Costume Party today Saturday, November 1, 2008.

Participants came dressed in their Halloween's finest costumes and even the little ones put on their best disguise and came along with their parents to celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun way - scary and dreadful - all spooks, monsters, vampires and horror-friends. It was a spooktacular event and I must say everyone had scary fun and thrilling excitement.

When I reached 1 Utama, I headed straight to the ground floor High Street where the event was held for a little fun and great time this weekend. I came not as a participant but to watch the party of ghosts, spirits and ugly creatures and of course to enjoy in the fun and to see these people, young and old live out their fantasies. I think everyone did a great job with their costumes and it was fun to see everyone's creative costumes.

Well done 1 Utama for organizing a successful and family-friendly Halloween Party.

Info:
Halloween, celebrated on Oct. 31, 2008 is believed to have its origins in an ancient Celtic festivity which celebrated the end of the harvest season and marked the boundary between the alive and the deceased. Halloween is also the eve of All Saint's Day, a Roman Catholic celebration.
