Top achievers. These Form One secondary students who scored 7As in the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) 2008 examination received their cash awards and trophies from their former primary school SRJK (C) Puay Chai SS2 in Petaling Jaya.

Pupils of SRJK © Puay Chai SS2 in Petaling Jaya who scored between four to seven distinctions in 2008 Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination received recognitions for their outstanding academic achievements when they were presented with cash awards and trophies from the headmaster and newly elected committee members of the school’s Persatuan Ibubapa Guru (PIBG) or Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at the school’s Excellence Awards ceremony held at the school hall on Saturday March 7, 2009.
The Excellence Awards ceremony is the highlight of the PTA Annual General Meeting 2009 in which all the six existing office bearers for year 2008 - chairman, deputy chairman, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer - were re-elected to serve for year 2009 without any contest.
The top achiever pupils were recognized as follows :
Cash RM50 and trophy – pupils scoring 7As
Cash RM20 and trophy – pupils scoring 6As
Cash RM10 and trophy – pupils scoring 5As
Trophy onlyxxxxxxxxxxx– pupils scoring 4As
They attributed their success to constant studying, encouragement and support from their families and teachers over the years.
