The winner of Malaysian Dreamgirl 2009 was announced at the season’s grand finale at The Curve shopping mall on May 15, 2009.

Juanita Anushya Francis Jacob, a 22-year-old accountancy graduate, who aspired to be model, was crowned Malaysian Dreamgirl 2009.

She received the highest SMS votes in the online reality show Malaysian Dreamgirl, an online-voting model search competition where the winner is selected entirely by the public via SMS votes received from May 5 - 14.
