Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival 2009 official launch at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur


It was a kaleidoscope of colours and sounds as a multi-cultural drums performance by the Malaysian Drum Symphony, heartbeat percussion bands, fashion show, busking acts by masquerade artistes and fire-eaters enthralled invited guests, tourists, visitors and shoppers during the official launch of Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2009 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on Sunday 5th July 2009 by the wife of Prime Minister of Malaysia, YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor.

The Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival from July 4 to August 31, 2009 is supported by the Tourism Ministry in promoting Malaysia as a world class shopping destination.

Everywhere's on sale. This is the time to grab the best bargains. Shop till you drop as spending helps to stimulate the economy but spend within your means.

While waiting for the arrival of YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor to launch Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival, she took the opportunity to speak to the big crowd of tourists, shoppers and visitors that had gathered to watch, about the 1Malaysia concept where the various races in the country; the Malays, Chinese, Indians and other minorities live together as one Malaysia where there is a place under the sun for all Malaysians.
