A dialogue session was held in the evening at 8.30 pm for Abdul Halim to meet all the committee members of Rukun Tetangga (RT) in Petaling district which has a total of 123 RTs registered with the department.
It was a fruitful dialogue session for Abdul Halim who said he would resolve the problems and issues raised by the committee members.
After the session ended at 11.30 pm, the director joined RT team members for night patrolling duty in a nearby area.

Rukun Tetangga is a body formed under the basis of the Essential Regulations Rukun Tetangga 1975 and is charged with promoting national unity, social interaction, community development and voluntary patrolling in ensuring peace.
Volunteers who take part in the Skim Rondaan Sukarela (SKS) or Voluntary Patrolling Scheme are bestowed with police power when patrolling. They are gazetted as police constables and covered under a 24-hour Personal Accident insurance scheme.
