Mines Hip Hop Dance Championship 2009: Showcasing Creative Street Dancing Skills

The 2nd Mines Hip Hop Dance Championship 2009 finals held at The Mines Shopping Fair complex in Seri Kembangan on Sunday 31st May 2009.

The competitors' hip hop were amazing… very smooth. They were dancing hip hop and unleashing their hidden talents. All in all it was an incredibly great hip hop performance.

Open individual category champion:
Mohd Faruq Bin Mohd Suhaimi, 19.
He's an amazing dancer. I have never seen anyone dance like that he is so unique. I wish i could dance like that. The 2nd & 3rd placing open individual category were won by Saiful and Nic Chan respectively.

Under 12 Group category 2nd placing Fabulous Crew with Ainaa, 11 (left) and Aqilah, 8. This young pair performed spectacular dance moves to the driving beat of hip-hop musics. The 1st placing was won by Dynamic.


U18 Group category Much Q2, an all-girls team which did not win but enjoyed the fun dancing for their own satisfaction posing with the MC of the event Kevin.

Showcasing Creative Talents and Capabilities:

Competitors battled it out to win the titles and prizes with their creative and nifty dance moves. They wowed the supportive crowd with their high energy hip hop dance. The judging criteria include originality, creativity and showmanship.
