This is a fashion show with a difference. A fashion show with models wearing wearing outfits made out from condoms of various colours, shapes and sizes.
The condoms fashion show was held at Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 30, 2008 in conjunction with World AIDS Day 2008.
The idea of this show is to get the message across and that is to promote the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
It was a welcome change from the usual fashion show.
During the show, a condom came off from the outfit of a model while she was parading on the runway and it landed on the floor. It was quickly picked up by one of the kids who had scrambled for it.
The playful kids had fun with their new found rubber ‘balloon’ until a parent took it away from the kids.
