A visit to National Science Centre

A visit to the National Science Centre or Pusat Sains Negara at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur is an exciting discovery for children with many interesting exhibits.

The main aim of the science centre is to promote greater understanding and interest in science and technology.

Visitors get to see the various creatures of the rainforest such as the Malayan tigers which are found only in Peninsular Malaysia and southern tip of Thailand.

The orang utans are native to Malaysia and Indonesia.

The leatherback turtle is the largest of all living sea turtles.

Children like the Prehistorics Section, with caves, dinasours and all.

The floating balls are caused by air streams flowing at different rates.

A whirlpool. Have you ever seen water swirling around in a river or ocean?
