Chinese New Year 2009 open house by ADUN Kampung Tunku Lau Weng San

More than a thousand people attended the Chinese New Year open house hosted by Kampung Tunku state assemblyman Lau Weng San held at the sports arena of SRJK Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya on Feb 9, 2009.

Selangor state executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah and Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua were the guests of honour at the event.

Three lions and a comical monk entertained the guests with their dance performance and handed out mandarin oranges.

Other activities lined up at the event included a contest to guess the number of seeds in the papaya, choir and karaoke singing.

Guests were treated to buffet dinner.

The RA cabin office had shifted to a field in Jalan 21/27 without water & electricity. It is not opened as they are still awaiting direction from MBPJ.
