Armed Forces Career Expo at Dataran Merdeka, KL

The Malaysian government organized a 3-day Armed Forces Career Exposition at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the Armed Forces 75th anniversary.

The expo allowed the public to view the military assets and technology on display and know the work of the various professions in the armed forces.

For many people, particularly the children, it was their first time getting on board armoured vehicles or handling the machine-guns, the anti-tank guns or hand grenades.

There were booths set up to encourage the people to join the armed forces. Armed forces personnel were on hand to explain and answer queries from visitors curious to know more.

It was a good public relation exercise for the Armed Forces with their smart-looking uniformed personnel and when approached, they showed their smiling faces and friendliness, even allowing you to take photos with them.
